How to come to my flat / Comment venir à l'appartement ?
English : The flat is ideally located, within short distance to all the public transports
From airport Schönefeld : located at 20 km from the center, you can take a taxi for appr. 40 euros or public transport for 3,40€ (2,50 € for children untill 14). You need the ABC tarif !! If you stay more than 4 days and you are with kids, you can take the welcome card for 34,50€ which enables you to travel unlimited in the ABC zone (including airport and Potsdam). There are plenty of possibilities but evening there are less bus or train, so please have a look on the website www.bvg.de to see what is the best solution depending on your time of arrival. At least, when you leave the airport terminal, there are busses just in front of terminal or you have to walk 10 min along a big open corridor (at your left) to go to the train station.
The easier and directer way is to take the direct S Bahn S9 which go directly to the station near the flat (S Bellevue) but it comes every 20 minutes only a( last train is at 00h28). At the exit, take the direction « Schloss Bellevue / Gerickesteg ». take the iron pedestrian bridge on the river and then the Street Calvinstrasse just in front of you. Take the first on the right , it is our street Melanchthonstr. ! it takes one hour !!
Depending on the time, another solution is to take the train DB (last platforms RB14 to Nauen or RE7 to Dessau) . it takes 30 min untill "Hauptbanhof" and then 5 min with bus 245 (direction Banhof Zoo and stop at "AltMoabit/Rathenowerstr") or tram 8 or 10 and stop Lunebergerstr (endstation) or walk for 1 km, there are 2 supermarkets along the road.
If you really want a gate to gate solution you can just take the bus in front of the airport : X7 or 171 , it will bring you to the metro (UBahn) station Rudow; from there you take metro untill Kleitspark and there the bus 187 and stop at Paulstr. the flat is just at the corner. (last bus evening at 23h40 after night busses !)
In all this case you have to count with one hour transport time considering that you have taken the right option depending on your hour of arrival. If you want to optimise your transport have a look on www.bvg.de and if you don't want to think about it, simply take the direct S Bahn S9 to Bellevue

By car , coming from theAVUS (E51), take the A100 (Hamburg / Wedding) and take exit 2 “Beusselstr.”. Then turn left on Alt Moabit. Later take the Paulstrasse on your right. You can park immediatly as the building is just at the corner It is very easy to park in the street.
From train station Hauptbahnhof you can walk (10à 15mm) or take the bus 245 to Banhof Zoologische Garten and stop at Alt Moabit/Rathenower Str or tram 8 or 10 and stop Lunebergerstr (endstation) . Then take the Paulstr and the first to the right. The building is at the corner
From train station Zoologischer Garten, take the bus 245 direction Hauptbanhof and stop at Alt Moabit/Rathenower Str . You can also take the S Bahn to Hauptbanhof/AlexanderPlatz/Ostkreuz and stop at Bellevue.

La solution la plus simple et la plus directe, c'est le SBahn direct , prendre le S9 vers Spandau qui passe toutes les 20 minutes et descendre à à S Bellevue située à 7 min de l'appartement.
A la sortie prendre la direction Schloss Bellevue/gerickesteg.
Prendre le pont pieton métallique au dessus du fleuve et ensuite la rue en face (Calvinstr.) Puis la premiere à droite, c’est notre rue !
L'autre solution, en fonction de l'heure, est de prendre le train : le trajet dure 30 min. (mais parfois il y a du temps d'attente). Les trains RB14 vers Nauen ou RE7 vers Dessau sont situés sur le dernier quai tout au bout . Il faut descendre à "Hauptbanhof" , puis prendre le bus 245 direction Bahnof Zoo et descendre à AltMoabit/Rathenowerstr ou bien prendre le tramway 8 ou 9 et descendre à la derniere station "Lünebergerstr.". Vous pouvez aussi aller à pied de la Hauptbahnof à l'appartement, il y a 1 km et deux supermarchés sur la route !
Si vous cherchez une solution "porte à porte" prenez le bus X7 ou le 171 directement devant le terminal, qui vous emmène rapidement au métro Rudow. Prendre la ligne U7 et descendre à Kleispart et là , prendre le bus 187 et descendre à l'arrêt Paulstr. situé à 50 metres de l'appartement. Le dernier bus part de l'aeroport à 23h40 après ce sont les bus de nuit.
Dans tous les cas cités, il faut compter en tout environ une heure de trajet à condition d'avoir pris la bonne option selon votre heure d'arrivée, donc consultez www.bvg.de si vous voulez optimiser votre trajet sinon prenez le S Bahn S9 direct jusque Bellevue !

TIPS / Astuces :
Si vous avez un petit trajet de moins de 2 km, prenez le taxi et dite "Kurzstrecke", la course coûtera 2 euros, si le kilometrage depasse, le chauffeur s'arrête.
Vous pouvez être tentés de ne pas prendre de ticket dans le métro car il n'y a pas comme en France les barrieres de contrôle et portes automatiques, tout est en mode ouvert : mais il y a de nombreux contrôles, en particulier sur la ligne vers l'aeroport, donc optez pour les cartes d'abonnement aux tarifs avantageux ! plus d'info sur le site http://www.bvg.de/index.php/en/index.html
